4 Months And Growing

 Just a little photo shoot we had yesterday in the backyard. He tolerates my excessive photo-taking very well.

 We started Sawyer on Rice Cereal this week. He hates it, and we're working on it, but isn't he cute?

Such a big boy!!!

Our little boy is days away from being 4 months old, and it seems like in the the past 2 weeks he has made more progress during tummy time than the previous 3 1/2 months! Sawyer has always hated tummy time and I thought he would never learn how to "push up" on his arms while he was on his tummy, but a couple of weeks ago he just decided he would start! And just this morning little man rolled over for the first time completely on his own!  He is growing up so so fast, some days it takes me by surprise.  I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to stay at home and be with our little boy so that he will always have a parent there watching and cheering him on for each little obstacle he conquers.

Sawyer's hair was getting extremely long and growing over his eyes and ears, so Josh and I decided it was passed time for a trim.  It made me sad to even think about cutting my baby's hair but I knew it was time.  Sawyer was not very participatory in this haircutting extravaganza.  He screamed the entire time while Josh held him down and I cut away at his hair.  It was very hard to cut that baby hair and make our little 4 month old look like a little boy instead of a baby :-(  I had to post this blog for my own memory's sake. This is definitely a milestone in our baby boys life!  First haircut: 9-4-2012
