Our Wedding/Anniversary Cake
Celebrating with a little bubbly! (I love Josh's face in this one)Yesterday (4-18-10) was Josh and my 1 year wedding anniversary! Josh had the whole day planned for us and was keeping everything a surprise for me. I was pretty certain that he was planning a canoing trip or something of that nature, but I was not even close! The day started off by him letting me sleep in a little while he went and got something to eat for the picnic lunch he had planned for us. Then we got ready and headed to The Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. While we were there the weather was perfect and we really got to enjoy walking around the gardens and seeing the beautiful landscape. Next we ate our picnic lunch that Josh had prepared and headed off to the zoo! Again, the weather was perfect and we had a blast spending the day together outside. Later we went out for a nice dinner together, then headed home to eat some anniversary cake and relax with a nice bottle of champagne. A perfect ending to a perfect anniversary day. I can't believe a year has already passed since we got married! Time truly has flown by for us this year. We have been so blessed in our lives thus far, I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in this coming year!
